Next group meeting June 7th 2018

Dear DC & MD Tinnitus Support Group,

Our next meeting is coming up June 7, and will give us the chance to catch up, to learn more about Tinnitus, and to support one another. As usual, we expect some new members, so it is always helpful to have people attend who are further along in their journey to provide encouragement. As well, the ATA is our best hope for progress toward a cure – it’s good to keep up with what is happening and how we may help.

We are seeking a volunteer or two to bring some snacks (e.g. from the Whole Foods next door?) – please respond to TinnitusDC@gmail.com.

Speaker: Dr. LaGuinn Sherlock, Au.D., research audiologist at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center; and Board Chair, the American Tinnitus Association. She has years of clinical experience treating tinnitus and hyperacusis, including at the U of Maryland clinic in Baltimore. She will update us on the ATA board meeting that was just held. Getting there: See the map: www.potomacaudiology.com.  If you drive, turn onto Security Lane off Rockville Pike, across from White Flint mall. Building is One Central Plaza, and parking is free in the structure adjoining the building, or on the street. If you use Metro, take the Red Line to White Flint and walk south on Rockville Pike past the Whole Foods sign and turn right on Security Lane. Enter at One Central Plaza and office is on the main floor.
